KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A new trail is being added to the Historic Dogwood Trails & Gardens program for the first time in more than 20 years.

Dogwood Arts is a non-profit organization that promotes and celebrates our region's art, culture, and natural beauty by hosting several events in the month of April and hosting the most celebrated event in Knoxville: the Dogwood Arts Festival.

Knoxville's iconic Dogwood Trails are open annually from April 1-30th, just in time to showcase the beauty of spring in East Tennessee! Simply plug the addresses below into your GPS to locate the 'Trailheads' and then follow the pink lines from there. While you visit, be on the lookout for homes with 'Open Garden' and 'Camera Site' yard signs.

The Dogwood Trails, Open Gardens, and Camera Sites are open April 1-30th and visitors are invited to drive, walk, or bike the Trails as they take in the natural scenic beauty of East Tennessee in the springtime. Open Gardens and Camera Sites are open 10AM-5PM daily.

Knoxville's first dogwood trail was established in Sequoyah Hills in 1955 and includes some of the city's most beautiful scenic landscapes.
