The old tracks and train carriages at the entrance are very interesting and worth checking out. There are heaps of tracks for 4WD and Motor bikes, and plenty of places to set up camp as well. We followed the track down to the Glow.

A deviation involving nine tunnels bypassed the Zig Zag and opened in 1910. The area was turned into a reserve for picnics and hiking until the 1970s when a volunteer group turned it into a tourist ride, until 2012.
